Tapping his pencil against his desk in Graphic Design class, anxious to get out of there, Galileo couldn't help but just stare at the clock. The hands of the clock darted bit by bit, showing every second and every minute that passed by. His class erupted in complete excitement and anarchy knowing within the minute they would be released from prison. They chattered away with relentless conversations about stupid and pointless topics such as football or Lil Wayne's new album. Galileo looked at his desk, rubbed his fingers through his fur on his head, and sighed, he just wanted for the dismissal bell to ring.
"RINGGGGG!" The bell echoed throughout the school and students spilled out of the class rooms and into the hallways. Galileo grabbed his bag, stuffed it with his pencil, Labtop and scrapbook and began to stand up but was immediately pushed down. "Hey watch where your goin, freak." He looked at her face, she was the short, snobby cheerleader who had the rest of the student body on the ring of her finger. She walked away, hips swaying, and headed towards the open door. Galileo couldn't help but look at her. She was beautiful, but she hated him, as do a lot of other people for no given reason. He blushed, and tried to get up again into his seat isle. Walking down the crowded hallway, being bumped and pushed, cutted off like as if the hallway were an intersection on a busy road, and being stared at deeply, he managed to get out of there alive.
He arrived at the bus depot at the back of his school, looking at the long row of yellow buses and entered his own. Sitting at the back of the bus, he stared out the window at the wondering students, thinking about what he would do for the rest of the day. Jude was out of town just for the 3 days but it seems like it would be forever. "What will I do without him?" He whimpered to himself, and banged his head against the window repeatedly. In between the bangs, he felt a tapping on his shoulder. "Get up." A voice said behind him. Galileo turned towards the anonymous voice behind him. He noticed a group of students were in a line behind the speaker. "Hurry up!" Get a move on!" They said impatiently. The speaker glared at him. "Get up, i'm sitting there. In fact, you better just get off the bus." He grinned and a couple of the followers behind him laughed. He pointed to the front of the bus towards the door. "Go or ill force you." "Yea fuck him up!" The bus cheered for a fight. Every single person was turned in their seats, all looking at Galileo. He frowned angrily and grunted. He stood up and squeezed passed the taunter. With a sudden shove, he was pushed to the floor of the bus. He toppled on another student as well. "Watch it!" He was shoved back and forth between the two. "Freaking quit it!" He crawled under the feet of all the students that rounded around him. He met the door of the bus and toppled out onto the pavement. The doors closed behind him. He looked at the windows and saw that everyone was laughing him.
The bus started to roll, leaving Galileo behind. He shook his head and spat. He was annoyed and angry. Irritated at the world once again. He got out his phone and dialed Jude's number. It rang a few times before he answered. "Hey Galileo, what's up?" He asked while munching down on something. Galileo smiled at the sound of his voice. "I miss you dude. When will you be home?" Galileo started to walk. "This time in two days," He said with a chew. Galileo whimpered. "That's too longggg" He complained. Jude laughed. "Hey hey hey the time will fly by before you know it." He chuckled. "So what are you doing?" Jude wondered. Galileo stopped walking and looked both ways of a street and proceeded forward. "Oh you know, enjoying the torment in life." From the phone, Galileo heard Jude stop chewing and taking a big gulp. "Aw what happened buddy?" Galileo pulled up his pants, which were accidentally sagging. "Got kicked off the bus by some douche because I was sitting in his desired seat. Its bull crap I know." He paused " I'm going to get a coffee at Starbucks, I want to get my mind off of it, i'm still shaking." Jude sighed through the phone. "Listen bud, ill make it up to you when I get back, I feel horrible how I couldn't take you with me here." Galileo smiled. "Yea you will." They laughed and talked throughout Galileo's walk to starbucks, He entered the coffee shop and sat next to a large window. "Hey I don't want to be rude to the other people in here, i'll talk to you later, okay?" "Okay bud, luv ya" He hung up and sat there for a minute, wishing that Jude was there, but he was so far. He rubbed his eyes as they started to water.
Galileo stood up from the table he was at, walked to the counter of the Starbucks and ordered. "Hi welcome to Starbucks, what can I get you?" The cashier said with a disturbing smile. He hesitated. "Y..yea can I get a Chocolate coffee with whipped cream and sugar?" He asked. The cashier tapped the register to get an official price. Galileo looked down at the display counter that held all the doughnuts, pastries, and many deserts like that. "Oh wait could I possibly get an eclair with that?" The cashier looked at him and nodded. "Okay that will be $6.45." The cashier said. Getting out his wallet, he handed the cashier the money and walked back to the table. He sat down and immediately started to scarf down his eclair. After finishing, without even touching his coffee, he got out his labtop and began to read online stories. He loved to read, especially other peoples stories of all sorts. It was a great pass time and he enjoyed it. Gradually taking sips of his coffee, he entered slacker.com and listened to music. His eyes felt heavy and he yawned constantly. 'What the heck, i'm drinking coffee, how am I tired?" He asked himself. He yawned one last time and put his head down on the table. "One quick nap." He said lazily. He closed his eyes and dozed off.
"Hey. 'Pssst'. Hey" Galileo groaned. He opened his eyes slowly to see the cashier standing next to him. "We are closing, you gotta leave." He said. Galileo sat up and looked at his labtop which was still sitting on the table. It was dead. "What time is it?" He asked. "Just past 10:00 p.m." He said. Galileo looked out the window and rubbed his eyes. He popped his knuckles and stood up. He grabbed his laptop and put it into his back pack. He stretched and walked out the the doors into the darkened environment. He looked around and it was pitch black. He took a nervous step onto the sidewalk and headed to his house. He lived quite a ways from starbucks, actually really far, he knew something bad was going to happen. Telling himself to suck it he opened his phone. He kept it out as a flash light because the street lights didn't help much. He looked around hoping that nothing would jump out at him out of the dark.
He could barely see his paw that was right in front of his face. He gulped and kept walking. He noticed a figure walking along the other side of the street. It was a giant shadow and he couldn't see its features. His heart dropped. His pace sped up. He was so scared but felt bad for judging so quickly, he couldn't even see his face. He looked at what he could see of the his feet walking on the concrete sidewalk. The figure lured closer and closer, making Galileo more uneasy. "Please..don't cross the street." He pleaded. The closer the figure got, the more Galileo sweat. Galileo was paying attention to the figure and walked into the path of a street light's beam. He was very noticable now, he was in the only light found in this hellish darkness. He saw that the figure stopped and looked at him. Galileo started walking faster and faster, knowing that the figure had his eyes on him. Soon the figure was out of sight since Galileo was walking the opposite way. "Shit he could pounce on me from behind anytime." He payed close attention by his hearing. He tried focusing on that and only that. He couldn't hear a thing, besides white noise. Galileo was in a panic. He started to jog, he just wanted to be home.
Eventually, after a while of jogging, he looked around, not seeing the shadow figure, or anything for that for that matter. The darkness was so intense, so threatening. He thought hard to tell where he was at, he had no idea. His tail sagged, he was scared out of his mind.....He was lost. He frantically turned in every direction, hoping to see something familiar. His eyes were glistening in the moonlight. He was terrified. He ran down a random street, not even knowing the name of it. He ran into a trash can and landed on someones lawn. He laid there on his back, staring at the stars. Those were the only things he recognized. They shined bright, with more distinct colors than the moon which was right in the middle of them. He felt so small knowing that there was a whole vast of unknown stuff in space.
He sat up, having the strangest feeling that he was being watched. He gasped at the thought of it. 'I.....is someone actually watching m..me?' He thought. In instinct, he stood up and ran. He ran for over 3 minutes in a strait pace without even stopping. He gasped for air every step he ran. He stopped in a near by park and held his chest, wheezing. The park had a reasonable amount of light, which was safest for him, or so he thought. He bent over and put his hands on his knees and exhaled hard. Out of breath, he stood strait up, his back arched. He tweaked his ears so the heard behind him. Nothing. He breathed many heavy breaths, desperately trying to get a sustainable amount of air. A branch snapped as if it were stepped on. He quickly turned around and saw the shadow figure standing there. His eyes opened so widely that it didn't seem like he had any eye lids.
"Hello dinner." The shadow figure said. Galileo still out of breath, backed up slowly till he hit his back against a tree. "D...dinner?" His jaw dropped in horror. The creature stepped out of the darkness into the light that peered from a lamp post. He was tall, his eyes glowed dark yellow, and his fur was blacker than the night itself. He had an extremely white belly that stood out a lot compared to the rest of his body. He grinned and looked at Galileo. "Yes, of course dinner. Smaller wolves like you make a good meal for us bigger wolves." He glared at him, he was stricken with fear, petrified like a mummy. He started to shake rapidly. The bigger wolf laughed. "Why are you so scared? All i'm going to do is eat you." He bent down and lunged towards Galileo. He jumped out of the bigger wolfs way and ran. He hid behind a tree that laid random in the park. "Who...who is he? Why does he want to eat me?!" He said to himself nervously. Even though Galileo traveled into a stomach before, he had no idea whether this wolf would hurt him or even digest him alive. Questions and scenarios ran through his head. He leaned against the tree with his back, praying.
Galileo held his paws around his mouth so the wolf couldn't hear his heavy breathing as easy. He slid down the side of the tree til he was sitting. He trembles so badly that it shook the tree, causing the leaves to raddle. He looked up at the leaves and then looked strait ahead of him. He saw the wolf charging towards him. Galileo clenched his eye lids and jaws and waited for the worst. A paw wrapped around his neck and he was pinned against the tree. "Thought you could hide, huh?" He said licking his lips. "You didn't do a very good job at it." He laughed to himself and his eyes met with Galileo's. "Wh..why are you doing this to me?" Galileo asked firmly and in a panic. The wolf smiled. "Because i'm hungry, and you were the only one around walking at this time of night." Galileo was mad at himself. If he would have never fell asleep at Starbucks, he would have never been in this situation. He would have been safe and not so close to death.
Galileo started to cry in fear. "Please! Do..don't hurt me!" Galileo pleaded. "Oh this won't hurt a bit, it will be fun." He gave a devilish smile and leaned in close to Galileo's face and look a long sniff. "Ahh, your aroma is delectable, little wolf." He said wiping the drool of his face with his arm. He started licking Galileo's face. "Mmmmmm." Galileo whimpered. He kept his eyes closed, too scared to open them. He was sobbing, wishing that Jude was there to save him. But he wasn't. Jude doesn't even know whats happening. He felt the wolf lick his face, around his snout and on his forehead. At this point, he knew he was going to be dinner for a big mysterious, hungry wolf.
Suddenly Galileo felt his phone go off in his pocket. He desperately tried reaching for it but the wolf caught his arm and shoved it back. "Ah ah ah, I don't think so." He said. He reached in Galileo's pocket and took out his Optimus LG. The wolf opened his jaws wide and closed his mouth around the phone. He took one big gulp and it was gone. Galileo looked at the bulge in his neck dissapear into his chest. "Hey! My phone!" Galileo cried. The wolf laughed and leaned very close to Galileo. "Don't worry about that," He said. "You'll get it back soon enough." He grinned largely, so large that it took up most of his face. His teeth were showing, white, sharp, and terrifying.
He licked Galileo's face once more, savoring the taste of the weak little wolf. Galileo hinged and clenched his fists in fear. The wolf slipped forward, making Galileo's nose go into his maw. He grabbed the smaller wolfs shoulders and sat him strait up. The large wolf stood up, picking up Galileo with him. He pushed Galileo farther into his mouth. Saliva drenched Galileo's plaid shirt. It dripped on the ground around the two of them. The big wolf slid Galileo down further into his throat. His neck bulging out as the new guest entered. He slid his tongue back and forth against Galileo's chest. He hiccuped and slurped in more of the little silver wolf.
Galileo whimpered and closed his eyes, too terrified to see what was happening to him. 'I'm being eaten alive without will! Please someone help me!" He cried inside his mind. The big wolf slid Galileo's chest into his maw and he dissapeared more into the much larger wolf. "Murrrr" The big wolf enjoyed everything about this. 'This little wolf is delicious, how nice of him to wander alone in the dark at night' The large wolf thought as his mouth was full of silver wolf. Galileo cried, "Please let me out!" He opened his eyes and saw the entrance of the large wolfs stomach. He started sobbing wildly. The large wolf felt tears fall within him. He frowned a little. "Perhaps I took this vicious predator act too far." He said to himself. All that was left out in the open was Galileo's legs, kicking around like a rag doll. The large wolf titled his head back so that gravity would help him.
Galileo's head popped into the entrance of the large wolfs stomach. His tears hit the bottom of his belly. He looked around, barely able to see much. He slid further into the stomach. "Ahh" The large wolf felt his belly fill up and swell as the new guest entered his vacant room. Galileo's knees entered the wolfs maw. The wolf rapidly licked them. "You are so delicious." He said under his tongue. Galileo's face held fear in it. He pushed against the walls of the stomach as more and more of him entered. "Ughh, a little cramped." Galileo wept. He thought of Jude. He wondered if he was ever going to see him again. His nice, nice friend who has helped him so much in his terrible hell he calls a life. He wanted to hug him and say thank you for everything he has done, but he doesn't know now that he is being eaten alive my a giant, unknown wolf. With one more giant gulp from the large wolf, Galileo's legs slid down his ginormous throat into the his gullet.
Feeling the little wolf enter his belly,he burped loudly and patted his large, distended gut. "Ahh you were such a filling meal." He teased. He could hear Galileo whimper from inside him. He was hyperventilating. "P..please! Let me out! Please!" He cried. He pushed against the walls of the stomach causing small paw prints to form from the outside of the stomach. The large wolf rubbed the bulges in pleasure. Galileo sobbed loudly. He wiped his eyes. "This is it, isn't it?" He said out loud. The large wolf looked at his belly and sighed. "Hey, listen." He began." I have might have taken this way too far, and i'm sorry for it." Galileo stopped crying. He was puzzled and confused to what the wolf just said to him. "W..what?" Asked Galileo, sniffing. Galileo wiped his nose with his sleeve that was dampened by saliva.
The large wolf spoke again. "I like to play with my food. It's fun to me." Galileo got mad. He clenched his fists, not with fear, but with anger. "Well It's not fun for me!" He yelled. "How do you think I feel knowing that i'm going to be digested by a giant freaking wolf! It's not all fun and games for me!" He punched the walls of the large wolfs stomach. The large wolf looked ashamed. "I did take it too far, i'm sorry." He said. "Quit apologizing! I'm your food! You don't apologize after eating a sandwich, whats the difference between that and me?" Galileo whimpered again. He curled up into a ball against the side of the stomach and began crying. He sniffed repeatedly. The large wolf did feel bad. He felt horrible in scaring the little wolf. He tried comforting him.
"Listen, i'm not going to hurt you. I was just pretending to act all scary because I like to feel in control. I took advantage of your weakness. I'm sorry." He said calmly. Galileo didn't believe a word he said. "Yea right. You could have told me that before you ate me, but instead you attacked me. Stop lying to me and let me be digested being spoken the truth." The large wolf rubbed his gut. "I have no intention of digesting you," He said. " I never digest my live meals, that would be awfully cruel." The large wolf tried to calm Galileo down but so far nothing has worked. "STOP LYING!" He yelled loudly within the large wolfs gut. Galileo rubbed both his eyes. He didn't know what to believe. This situation feels just like when he had first met Jude. He didn't trust him at first but everything turned out okay, better than okay. They made a life long term friendship. But this wolf didn't try to comfort him before he ate him, he just strait up swallowed him whole without remorse.
The large wolf sighed, his lip quivered. 'Dammit, I did take it WAY too far. This is the worst reaction I have ever had after eating someone.' He felt bad for the way he acted, he should have stopped with the charade before it got too out of hand. Galileo was so far gone with fear he didn't allow him to think. "I'm sorry, very sorry." He petted his gut, and Galileo liked it. He felt the large wolfs paw rub against the outside of the stomach, messaging his back. "My name is Christian, what's yours." Galileo hesitated, not knowing if he should speak, but did so anyway. "My name..is...Galileo." He replied in an unsteady voice. It was crackling since he had screamed and ran his voice much that night. Christian smiled. "That's a nice name." He said trying to calm Galileo down. "I am very sorry I scared you. As I said earlier, I love to play with my food. It excited me and I had to keep it going, it felt good, but I feel awful about it." He said in a pleasant voice.
Galileo thought for a bit. "He sounds like he's speaking the truth. I...guess I can give him a chance.' Galileo sighed. "Why take it too far though. Couldn't you even tried to stop yourself? It didn't seem like you did." Christian rubbed his neck. "Honestly, no I didn't try to stop myself. I loved the feeling of overpowering you at first, but I felt you cry in my stomach, and had a realization that I was too serious about it." He stopped rubbing his neck and put it back onto his bulging belly. Galileo was surprised by his answer. He looked up towards the top of Christians belly. "Ha...have you done this before?" He said nervously. Christian rubbed his belly, and blushed. "Y..yea. I'm into eating people. But I never digest, just like I will not digest you, I promise." Galileo thought of Jude again. The two of them had so much in common. Gobbling up people because they were much larger than everyone. He laughed. "Whats so funny?" Christian smiled. Galileo stopped laughing and spoke. "You...you remind me of a friend of mine. His name is Jude. Hes a huge dragon. He loves to eat me too. We met because I'm having a hard time in school. I'm being terribly bullied. No one really likes me and I don't know why." Galileo felt like he told the some-what stranger too much. He grew quiet.
Christian spoke. "You're being bullied?" He asked with an emmence frown on his face. "That's terrible." Galileo was confused, he doesn't know why all giant predators always felt bad for him. It made his smile. He made a theory, the larger you are, the more you care. "Galileo, I'm sorry for scarfing you. You are an adorable little wolf that I took advantage of. If I would have known you were being tormented, I would have never done any of this to you." Galileo blushed. "It's okay." He said. "I'm sorry too. I over reacted to you eating me. I..I'm used to it after all." Christian smiled and patted his belly. "I need to meet this Jude fellow, we have alot in common then." They both laughed and Galileo felt a lot of tension ease off his shoulders.
The both of them conversed for hours. Telling each other about themselves. They grew closer and closer with every sentence they had said. "Haha, You are such a charming little wolfie, how are you being bullied?" Galileo's face lit red. "Th...thank you. I don't know why I am. Jude helps me a lot. He helps me cope with it, mainly by eating me." Christian chuckled. "Maybe I could help you too?" He smiled. Galileo smiled largely. "You..You want to be friends with me?" He said excitedly. Christian smiled and hugged his enormous gut. "Yes, that sounds brilliant." Galileo was speechless. He couldn't believe it, another giant predator friend who would gladly protect him. He felt a tear coming from his eye. "Hey whats the matter?" Christian asked. "Oh, nothing..I'm just so happy. You and Jude need to meet, you'll both have a blast together. But you guys might have to compete on who will eat me first. I'm Jude's occasional snack." Christian laughed."When can I meet him?" He asked. "Not for two days unfortunately. This was kinda why I was wondering alone at night. I was nearly beat up on my bus, so I got off it and headed to starbucks and kinda...fell asleep."Christian rubbed his eyes. "Well that's two days you're stuck with me. Just the two of us." Galileo blushed and felt like screaming with joy. Christian stood up against the tree where earlier Galileo was hiding, and stretched, his belly wobbled with it.
Christian hugged his wobbling stomach. He was very appreciative that he had met Galileo, as Galileo felt the same way about meeting Christian. They both knew that they would be good friends. "Hey Christian." Galileo said quietly. Christian yawned. "Yea buddy?" He replied. "Thank you for not hurting me. For being my friend, I feel so loved now, thank you." Christian smiled. " I'm honored to be your friend. You are sweet, cute, and full of happiness. You bring me a cheerful smile. And we only met today! Imagine how strong our bond will be after like a year!" He said energetically. Galileo laughed and thought about how they would be after a year, and it looked amazing. Him, Christian, and Jude. Three good friends always together. Happy. With that realization he felt something vibrate under him. It was his phone, he had forgotten that Christian had swallowed it. He picked it up and looked at it. Jude was calling him. He answered. "Hello?" He said. "Galileo? Are you okay? Did you make it make it home okay? Are you alright?" Galileo smiled and replied. "Yea Jude, I'm okay." He smiled and patted the inside of Christian's stomach. "And actually I'm better than alright.."
After two days of hanging out with Christian, Jude came home to a surprise. Galileo introduced the two of them. The immediately became fond of each other. It's like all three of us were meant to be friends. Galileo was so happy. Having such great friends, he was very grateful. They hung out constantly. And on occasions, Christian and Jude got into little battles to see who was going to eat Galileo. They didn't know how to share a meal. So they made a schedule to when each of them could gobble down Galileo. They both agreed to the terms of the agreement, and so did Galileo. They all smiled and grew a bond stronger than steel. They all were happy, happy to be such great friends. Galileo was especially happy, having a new friend and protector entering his life. 'What could be better?' He thought to himself. 'Nothing, absolutely nothing' :)
The End
