Second Life Jennie, by Sila, Me, et al.
After lots of help from
sila, this is the current Second Life version of me! Sila took the basic Toddleedoo avatar and customized it, then resized and tweaked various bits from different other avatars, mainly the adorable Curious Chinchilla and the Ax bunny. The AUP says I have to credit store-bought elements, so:
Basic avatar by Toddleedoo. Ears and paws by Ax. Head and eyes by Curious Avatars. Hair by Wasabi Pills. Onesie and bracelet by Turducken. Hot-air-balloon-themed bed in background by The Kid Co.
Wallpaper in the background is by me. The block I'm sitting on is my doing too (you can click on the corners/edges to change the letters, and the colors and orientation of the letters). Yes I know the nose is totally not bunnylike, and I'd like to fix it, but I can't at this time.
Big thankoo and hugs to Sila! :)

Awwww thankoo ^_^ Sila did great, I have just been collecting pink bunny avies and went shopping for hair and clothes and stuff. I commissioned her, and she customized things and put things together. :)
Ooo yea ... I can never find the right hair either *giggle* I think that's a problem that everyone on SL has, except maybe people who know how to make hair :)

Well we have already established that cresteds are cute. :) But anyway hanging out would be fun! ^^
Yay! This avie is actually a lot smaller than I'd have thought possible a few years ago -- SL has a minimum size for its normal avatar because it can only be stretched and pinched so much before it starts looking weird, and they don't have a scale control, I guess because they wanted adult human figures to be the norm. But they also make things highly customizable (which is why furries are possible -- you can hide the default head and attach another head in its place; imagine wearing a fursuit, but one where you could put an invisibility cloak over your real head), so there have always been tiny avatars using various tricks, but that used to mean making parts of the avatar's body invisible and folding them out of the way, which tended to look weird and not very good. But in the past couple of years they've come out with mesh avatars, meaning that, instead of pushing the default avatar to its limits, you can outright replace the SL avatar with something else, and that's what's going on here. There are even smaller avatars too, like fairies and pixies. I haven't measured exactly how tall this avatar is now, but the alphabet block I'm sitting on is a 1-metre cube, and I'm not even sitting right up on the front edge of it!
Yeah unless you have someone completely custom make you one,
it will always be off somewhere. Tho I am sure that is expensive.
Biggest thing for me is I have a small char and things are a lil out of portion.
Imagine if we could make things 100% like our imagination imagines. I would love it.

Yes, the mesh avatars made a huge difference, although the only mesh in use here is the body model -- the ears, head and paws (and the tail, which you can't see here) are all just made of sculpted prims. The hair might even just be standard prims. The bows in the hair might be sculpted.
