oy. steampunk clockwork? nice, and stylish. uh, take care with that spine housing... you might cause cable salad. :)
as for names, for the horsie (I think it's a boy) I think Horace would sound good, like that old and rarely used character from WD comics.
as for the striped cat... Mercedes? Abigail? if she has red fur and stripes, even Bacchara might sound good.
