Wyren looked over the ledge down towards the glowing beam of light. Lynna looked over at Wyren for a while, pondering if they should take the plunge. Suddenly Wyren's white cloak lit up in a bright glow, they looked back and realized that one of the guardians has spotted them. The eyes turned red, Lynna and Wyren knew they had to go. They leaped from the ledge just in time to dodge the swooping charge of the guardian and slid down the sand slope. Two more guardians had spotted them and furiously chased them down the slope, charging and swooping at them. Almost having reached the bottom, in a last ditch attempt Wyren jumped high in the air and right over the charging guardian into the safety of the temple. Lynna followed but didn't manage to avoid the attack. She looked behind and was slammed higher up into the air just before the barrier, tumbling down like a stone onto the temple floor. Wyren quickly ran back and jumped up to catch her. In a brief moment he wraps his scarf around her and carries her down gently. When they have touched down, Wyren looked at her as she slowly opened her scared eyes and whispered "I got you".
