It's actually a redo of that particular frame. Redoing frames seems to be a thing on Tumblr so I gave it a shot, haha. :>

My favorite season is actually the third one! The narrative is really dark and they get into some uncomfortable topics. It's cool imo. But the first season will always have the most nostalgia factor connected to it. uwu

You should watch it! It's still really good (both the dub and sub, surprisingly enough). I actually didn't see the last ep until years later because when it was going to air I was dragged along to see my brother's baseball game and missed it, haha.

Not to mention in the Japanese version their Rookie forms have attacks like 'Petit Thunder' and 'Petit Fire' which sound almost identical when they say them.
(The sub is still superior though and not rife with terrible puns, but.)

It does have a certain guilty pleasure nostalgic quality to it, I agreeee. I dunno! I really do love the dub for Tamers, though.

I have a tough time with the subs myself exactly because of the nostalgia factor! I tried to start watching Xross Wars subbed but just couldn't get into it, so I'm hoping I'll like the dub more when it airs next month!
