My new lion costume by 
beastcub just came in, and I had fun doing a photo shoot today - I'll be sharing some of my favorites here :)
Although she's done a lot of realistic-style suits lately, I knew without a doubt with her talent she could capture Kijani's characteristic toony, happy-kid-friendly look and she came through with flying colors
It's the new me! After 5 years of fursuiting as the old Kijani, that suit started to show some wear (though it held up magnificently in all that time). While it is always hard retiring such an iconic part of me and all the public fursuiting I've done since 2008, it was time for an upgrade. Beastcub is probably my favorite fursuit builder in the entire fandom and my dream came true when I was able to get my new suit commissioned by her. She did an outstanding job!
Features: Follow-me 3D eyes, sewn-in tail, extra roomy head with space for glasses, moveable jaw.

The only way I can bowl in this suit (with my normal style) would be to take my right hand paw from my old suit and use that, unfortunately with the paw pads there's no way I can fit my digit in the ball (and they're too delicate anyways). But the coloration is close enough that I think I can pull it off :)
Man, when I first saw the sneak preview of this on BeastCub's account, I was practically dancing up the walls with excitement. Your suit has always been an iconic part of the public fursuiting community, and to see you finally getting an upgrade this gorgeous 5-years later? Couldn't have happened for a more amazing suiter. =3
I think it goes without saying that I'm VERY much looking forward to seeing the new and improved Kijani making his first video debut. ^_~

You were the fursuiter who really got me into using my costumes for volunteer work and such! I enjoyed learning etiquette and ideas from your channel, and Kijani the lion suit was always a pleasure to see! The response from children and adults alike to the old suit were amazing, and it held up and did its job fantastically!
I can't wait to see how this one works; it's got some big shoes to fill!
