It's like if 1-1 was in Super Mario 3D Land.

Well it's not perfect, but hey, you get the idea of what I was going for here. Plus I LOVE how the castle turned out.

Well I know they have made something like this with Megaman 2 call Megaman 2.5D.

I know, them blocks make it look like a chocolate bar.

Sweeeeet. The hill could use a little work, but sweet.

It could be really cool if you constructed it with the same limited colour palette of the original tile-set, but that's another endeavour entirely.

Not much that could be done with the bush really.

If it is, as I'd expect, a remake of Super Mario Land, then it isn't quite set in the Mushroom Kingdom.

Why thank you, making all of the blocks wasn't hard, it was making the finished thing you see here that was.

Okay, looking it up I am still not sure what orthographic is.
Is it seen through versions of 3D objects? Kind of like blue prints?

Well it's be similar to this, but like the dominant color will be the outline of the 3D blocks.
