From Drawing I. Negative space lessons w/ contour lines. We had to stare at the still life and draw only the outline of it. It is a lot harder than you would think. Most classmates did not understand the concept, either.
This was a simple dried plant set up in a jar. I never got around to making the "background" (negative/black space) filled in. I kinda like it as just lines, anyway.
