Really hopeing this one succeeds. This may not be a new Megaman game, but it's flipping close enough! XD

like the others above I don't have the money yet, but when it gets closer to ending I might. And I am so happy for this.

It seems the game will be released to consoles, PC, Mac and Linux sistems as well, I'm sure we can expect it on a PS3 or PS4, as well Xbox 360 or Xbox One

yeah but what if i make a donation for enough for a download code, but it ends and it didnt reach the goal for console release. I would basically have a code for a game i cant play. But i may have a better computer by then, so i could take the risk

While this would be a good fun game to play, the main char, I know is inspired by Megaman though I am not sold on his design. Still, the game should be fun and it is Inafune so might donate anyway.

Okay y'know what? Everybody just shut the flying fuck up about Jar Jar Binks. It was HIS goddamn series, he could do whatever the flying goddamn FUCK he wanted with it. If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have had that series IN THE FIRST GODDAMN PLACE!

It's not so much what he did to the series, it's that he's trying to drag us all along for the ride. I personally would be fine with it all if I could just pick up a DVD version of the original 70's versions, but no, he all but decrees by law that we must be forced to enjoy the bastardized versions and as such, we all have to wait in line for someone to digitize the Laser Disc versions.

And don't tell me about that limited run of the "Original Theatrical Versions." That was just a limited run, and nothing but a ploy to try and stave off the above Laser Disc project.

Lucas wanted to make something, and he wanted to do it his way. What's the point of doing it at all, if he can't do it his way?
That's why he sold the rights to Disney, he was sick and tired of listening to irate fans bitch about Jar Jar, the new trilogy, and revising the old trilogy.
And I actually LIKE all the stuff everyone else hates, I don't see what's so bad about it all.
The long and short of it is, he wanted to give us something, and he wanted to go around all the bigwig execs telling him how to do his job... only to have the fans tell him how to do his job.

I'm not knocking the game, it looks kickass. I'm just saying...

well there are allot of games that are homages to other games and they didn't get sued, best example i can think of is "3d Dot Game Heroes" which is just a 3d version of the original Legend of Zelda. Capcom produced a game that every one considers a ripoff for "'Splosion Man" called "MaXplosion" so i don't think Capcom has the right to say any thing about it

Actually, he sorta quit, but...yeah.

He can't do another Megaman anything because Capcom still holds all the rights to the franchise, considering he helped make the various Megaman games while still in the employ of the company. It sucks, but like Inafune said, even though he doesn't have the tools and creations of the past, he still has the spirit that went into making them, and that's all he really needs. In a sense, Inafune is Megaman, despite how things started.

And here I sent you a note about this, not checking my submissions feed. should have known better that the biggest rockman fan would have probably known about this game before Inafune himself. I was a bit sceptical cuz its looks way too much like rockman, (even with the Roll looking character) but it make sense since its from the same creator,. however i am curious on how it will play out. the design does look original enough, kind of looks like a cross breed of Rockman NT warrior(the suit) Rockman(the look) and Rockman Zero(the eyes)

but back to the picture. as always your renditions are spot on!!
looking forward to seeing more fan art from you buddy!

in all the footage and pics, it kind of looks like he has sort of transformer arms, cuz they seem to break apart and reconfigure, it all looks pretty neat, and thanks ^-^

I donated some money to help support his cause, whether it's PC only or console...but at this rate, it's looking like he'll get that stretch goal. I mean, barely a day has passed and he's already got over $800,000+ of his target $900,000. Tell me that's not givin' up some love for Inafune! XD
