The mantra of which I live my life.
As I've come to learn recently, I am incredibly pessimistic and defeatist in my view of the world. It really shows when I say this exact phrase every other day.
I have to live each day with an even balance of good and suck. If either one outweighs the other, then reality has to tip the scales to balance it all out.
Though an optimist would say, "But that means that after every bad day, you'll have a good day to make up for it!"
Being the kind of guy I am, I reply with "I see what you mean, but go fuck in a bed of broken glass with a feral cat, I need a coke slushie right now."
Blue and Red slushies just literally taste like colors, unlike soda slushies, which are the goddest of god tier

If you take an unopened bottle of a carbonated soda, freeze it for a few nights, and then open it when it's frozen, the rush of air displacement will pulverize the ice and make an instant slushie of whatever soda you want. You only get one shot to drink it, but if you have some friends over it's the best thing ever. I used to do this all the time with a 2-liter of Sprite.
