Sorry for lack of picture's for day 0-1. So I managed to smoosh things in with day 2's stuff. I had so much fun, lots of stuff to do, so much time and too many people x3
Day one: half-assed Jack Frost. [W.I.P]
Day two: Hipster Prince Gumball.
In all honesty I didn't want to dress as Gumball on day one because I'd have felt shown up by all of the other Gumballs.. So I went the next day as the only one [that I saw] and totally felt special because of my origionality.
I was also in a small adventure time photoshoot today, that was fun.
I recruited Fionas and Finns to track down Marshals in exchange for sticks of gum[I didn't have gumballs ;-; ].. As well as just randomly handing it out to people who wanted me in their mouth.. And a pretty sick Flame Princess!<3 was sad I was in a hurry and was inable to snag a photo with her.. But I did manage to tell her she was perfect and that I wanted to stick her in my oven so we could bake delicious masterpieces!
I found some pretty awesome Marshals with sas who snapped back in character when I'd comment how they'd scronked up my dome piece. I've gotten "Oh~ *sarcastic* I'm so sorry your highness,"[in whish was who I had the photoshoot with :3 you'll see him later] "Would you like me to finish the job?" I honestly didn't know what to answer to the second one, swiftly gave a hand of dismissal, and probably blushed pretty hard. But my favorite had to be the one who I coincidentally passed by and was singing "I'm just Your Problem" .. And eveyone pointed me out when I had to walk up the stairs they were sitting on..
I honestly couldn't handle it and turned away ubruptly with a "talk to the hand" pose.. But then managed to sneak back around behind him and threaton to pour my hipster coffee on him.. he then broke out into "Oh Gumball" and I tossed five dollars and a nickle into his case and told him "that's for lastnight." And offered to drop in a 10$ itunes gift card if he personally sang me that song again. He agreed, and I filmed it, I died in a nose bleed of my own strawberry syrup. Then a random Fiona came up and was all "hey! what's up guys??" Marshal pulled an origional: "oh.. Hey Fiona." My respence: "go away! It's boy's night! Nothing to see here! Go quest or.. Find Cake or.. *Shoos* Something."
Then Marshal and I hung for a bit, and with the power of a second itunes gift card I bribed him to play me "Bad Little Boy" and we dueted. I felt like I was on a ship. It was great. All in all I just payed out $25.05 to a Marshal lee cosplayer for being just awesome in general and making my day<333
until my girl and I were battling and she shot me with "you're just the gum stuck to the bottom of my shoe." Swiftly I asked the nearest Jirachi to banish her because I wished she did not exist. Grell then turned and whispered darkly "Burn in Hell, Gumball." In which, coincidentaly, the sun came ot behind the clouds and blinded me until Jirachi saved me from melting and became my sun sheild.
All in all, a wonderful day. :3
It lifts my ego when people recognized me, and when they guessed wrong and their friend's corrected them, and if they didn't they were probably too busy being in character to care to interact and made me smile instead.
If you read this all the way through bless your soul. You're quite possibly one of those few who dared tackle such a timewasting task.
