"Aha!"

The faun froze in his tracks, itchy fingertips only inches away from the small chest that was no-doubt full of wonderful shiny treasures. His short tufted tail twiched, caught like a deer (which he would have been quite offended at being compared to, mind you), and he glanced back over his shoulder from his ungainly bent-over position.

The human smirked, tutting softly as he came forward and took the faun's shoulder, pulling him upright and back against him. "I thought such a delectable bait would catch our thief that's proved to be such a nuisance to the villagers - who knew it was a little goat all this time?"

"I'm not a goat," the fae-like male replied with a touch of a haughty huff.

"Goat-ish, then," his captor smirked, reaching around and tipping the faun's head up to look up at him. "The only question remains...what do I do with you now that I've caught you?"

Dark brown eyes grew wider as the faun stomped lightly at the soft grass with his hoof, trying to keep his balance in the awkward position that the human had him twisted in.
