Going clockwise from the top:
(Emperor) Tonbertine the Warlock
Damienfox
The party's de facto leader and arguably their strongest member. Tonbertine is master of all elements, but chose to stick solely with lightning because "it looked cool". He gathered the party of four together to invade Castle Hammerwatch and collect the treasures within, making sure to add in a "10% cut, plus leadership fees" to each of their contracts. Unfortunately, things fell apart when he realized that its rather hard to summon lightning when you're underground, in a castle, without a clear view of the sky. Due to that, he was relegated to shouting orders from the back row before gathering enough strength to lead the charge.
Constantly amazed by the apparent ignorance and disorganization of his party, he'd need an entire pack of throat longenzes by the end of the quest, due to his constant yelling.
Its unknown if he actually wears pants or not, a constant topic of debate for his party members.
Catch phrase: "POWEERRR!!"
Smekkles The Great
Forest-wolf
A wizard with control over fire, Smekkles is actually the reincarnation of a demonic fire diety, prophesized to be the catalyst for the End of the World. However, Smekkles has found that adventuring is a lot more fun than that, so he's taken it upon himself to "be the very best, like no one ever was.™" His very name strikes fear into the heart of many a beast, due to his apparent ability to set absolutely anything on fire. He demonstrated this to Tonbertine during his recruitment by setting one of his own fireballs on fire. When Tonbertine was less than impressed, Smekkles fumed and subsequently set the moustaches of everyone in a 20-mile radius on fire. Tonbertine accepted him into the group before they were accousted by the angry mob that formed afterwards.
Smekkles has an entire wardrobe of expensive, nigh-invulnerable armor, but due to their having to flee town after his stunt, he was forced to venture into Castle Hammerwatch wearing nothing but his silken bathrobe. As such he's the most vulnerable of the group when in battle.
Has a natural affinity for finding secrets. Also wanders aimlessly when given the chance.
Catch phrase: "BUUURRRN HAHAHAHAHA oh hey a secret passage. :3"
Jim the Paladin
NinTheFolf
Jim was the mightest of the Southern Association of Awesome Paladins, at least until his defeat at the hands of a beast he will only refer to as "Jimmy Dean". He now quests constantly to find the beast, but is easily distracted enough to join Tonbertine's journey into Castle Hammerwatch with the promise of "shiny things". He's always in the forefront, leading the others into battle with his enchanted sword "Poker's Bane"! Though his high strength and resilence often means he leaves the others behind while he carves a single-person path through the relentless hoards. Or if he wanders off with Smekkles as they recklessly destroy everything, leaving Tonbertine to yell at them to stop leaving the group behind.
How fast he swings his sword has been a topic of discussion by the magic users of the group, due to the fact that he can slash in two different directions simultaneously.
Catch phrase: "I got this." *runs through fire floor traps without batting an eye*
ArrowMouz the Archer
Lapseph
Hailing from the Elven highlands, ArrowMouz is an elite archer, able to hit targets the others in the group can't even see. Heck, he can hit targets even he can't see, a fact which impressed Tonbertine and led to him have him join the group. The fastest and quietest of the group, he'll often be far ahead of the others, before they realized he hasn't said anything for a good 30 minutes and start looking for him, only to find him shooting a near endless stream of arrows at a magic-spewing tower, which isn't doing very much at all. ArrowMouz joined with a bottomless quiver of arrows, a +10 Bow of Hurting, and a full set of enchanted elven armor, sparkling gold in the sun. However, Tonbertine, for unknown reasons, pulled rank and forced the archer to dress in cloth "armor" and wear a rather skimpy pair of shorts. Tonbertine later showed up with a shiny new +55 Dagger of Poison, while ArrowMouz's armor went missing. They still haven't caught the thief that "mugged" Tonbertine and gave him that dagger.
Occassionally phases out of reality due to Smekkles casting a "Roast Rabbit" spell on him and critically fumbling.
Catch phrase: "...I can't tell if I'm hitting it or not." *shooting off-screen at something the whole time, hitting it with every shot*
...I had a lot of fun with this game, in case you couldn't tell. XD Tried out some fancy coloring/shading too, been much too long since I've done so and I need to get back into practice, lol.
