For those who don't know, the oh-so-creatively named zebragon species have long tongues which they can extend to help catch prey up to double their own size. A male zebragon is demonstrating that here and basically being a greedy fatass.
There are lots of these striped eating beasts gathered in the jungle ruins outside Gebbu's temple, so...it's probably not wise to go exploring here.
They have incredible stretchy stomachs and can unhinge their jaws, so most zebragons can swallow creatures that are somewhat bigger than this guy's prey. Some are greedy derps though and over-eat lol.

Seriously though, it used to be directly side-on and 2D, but I asked someone if I needed to draw the other legs. We agreed that his other front leg didn't need to be shown since it's hidden behind that huge bulge but the other back leg needed to be drawn. It was only until I finished colouring I realised it looked like he only had a single wing in the centre of his back FFFUUUCCK

I'm going to be needing to talk to you about another commission soonish, if you're willing. :P I keep a list of current/past commissions, and people I've promised to/need to commission (again). Sorry it's taken so long, the wild fires made me miss a lot of work and really hurt my budget, but there's only one more slot before your name is back at the top of that list! I've got a couple of ideas... so... I'll send you a note, probably in the next month or so, to see if you're open, able, and willing to. =3
