So this is a quick sketch of what I did today. It ended up costing way more than I wanted, but I turned my otherwise boring balcony into a tropical paradise. For foliage (left to right) I got a Madagascar Dragon Tree, Golden Pothos, and Massangeana Cane. Then I replanted those into larger pots, laid down a bamboo mat, and covered the walls with a woven reed fencing. Add gas grill and tiki, and viola: its tiki time. This sketch makes it look way more cramped than it actually is... there's probably room for two chairs. And when it was all finished up, I fired up the grill and cooked what is probably the best steak I have ever had.

It doesn't look like it, but that was a lot of work for one day, which is why this is just a quick sketch, and probably won't get any color.
