Cell-shaded comish for
Mungkorn of his Halo monster!
Hard-core Halo fans forgive me if anything isn't 100% perfect on this guy - I just had a couple refs and have never done one of these guys before, and literally know nothing about Halo. Except for Master Chief.
Anyway, this guy was fun to work on! Definitely a fun project apart from my usual dragons and...organic critters, hehe. I do have a soft spot for mecha and sci-fi stuff. I liked working on the different surfaces of this guy, even for just a cell piece.
Colours done off a written ref, so there may be some changes later.

this looks really awesome, now i am considering comissioning you sometime in the future that might be up your alley. My sona is a dragon and "I" have armour based off of the armour of the Elites from halo so maybe sometime when i have money and you are open for comissions i'll become a new customer for you haha. and again, great job on this piece
Look at that Sangheili!! He's so badass and I LOVE the armor colors~ He's definitely ready for combat, or rushing into a battle for blood.
Sangheili = Elites. Humans call the Sangheili Elites due to their high intelligence and tactical skill. They have expert prowess in battle and are to be dealt with caution. These are based off of the Predators and have an Eastern culture - mostly Japanese. Very lethal. Very efficient. They used to lead forces against the humans in the Human-Covenant War, but have since left-- okay, that's enough info xDD

I've played Halo 1 and 2 for countless hours and killed an incredible number of these guys, maybe not a hardcore fan because I said "Screw it Microsoft, 300 dollars is too much for just a console, especially two years after it came out!" but I think you did a great job! especially for this being your first one.
A super-hardcore-Halo/nazi-fan might gripe that the armor is wrong, but honestly, the Elite's rank and species is still completely recognizable, and the armor is really rather close; so I'd consider it stylized.
All and all, I wouldn't be too worried! You did such a great job only the most obnoxious of people would actually complain! And who cares about the votes of a few trolls anyway!

Thanks! It really means a lot! ^^. Yeah, I was expecting countless comments about how I 'missed this,' or 'didn't do this right,' and 'did that wrong,' etc. (I frequently have people rip me, no, freaking slander and crucify me, over dumber things.). Alhamdulillah, this guy received a pretty warm reception! ^^
That is one very unique style for a double energy blade wielder. He must be the most fearless of his species. I do love the relaxing blue background color, it fits the art really well. Perfect pose and attitude, both would make this elite an epic legend. Question if I may ask. Do you know what rank/class he represents?
