There are the Sisters of Battle, an all-female army attached to the church of the Imperium of Man. After a coup d'etat by the previous head of the church who was then deposed, the Imperium said that the church could no longer maintain 'men-at-arms'. They didn't say anything about women-at-arms, though...
If you're refering to the armor I think your take is pretty sweet. The silhouette looks spot on, plus you can always customize the armor.
You should try drawing some more 40K armor, not just space marines but some of the other guys too like the Tau, Chaos, etc. You got the skill for it. Maybe see what the Cowtatos would look like in one?
