I tell you what, it is something else to see a scene that has gone through my head so many times be drawn out and actually displayed in a visual fashion, and I certainly think you did the scene much justice :) You set the tone just right with the angles and closeups, it certainly gives a very foreboding feeling which is what I was striving for in the story. As you say in your description, we could all use a little more practice but I sincerely think you've made an excellent start toward perfecting this skill of yours and this style. I think it will lead to some good things for you and I will eagerly watch your progress over time with each and every new page your upload in this style. I happen to like it very much and so far you have me very impressed ^^
