I find this more than a little amusing, as many of the Moonies believe that the U.S. government lies about absolutely everything else, but not this, dammit! And since I don't believe the GDP figures that are released by the U.S. government on a regular basis, and I don't accept any of the various justifications that are offered for its various foreign adventures, why would you ever expect me to believe everything the U.S. government says about its historical accomplishments?
Good point. I have no idea if the moon landing was genuine or not, but who is stupid enough to believe the lying mouths of the state? Especially after they have been caught lying so shamelessly? It is really creepy to realize this, but our governments would never hesitate to shoot us when it would suit them. Never trust the government. No wonder I have always been sympathetic towards anarchism.
