Ok let me get this straight...

The two older Mewtwos are the one from the first three movies which is the "male" one, the other adult Mewtwo is the "female" from the new movie with Genesect, and the little guy turns out to be, when you toss him a Mewtwoite, Mewchi...

I know it's not canon but hey, I still like analyzing things...

Would have bought this as real had it not been for Brock's presence or the miniature Mewtwo.

Well, who knows; Maybe there will turn out to be a copycat (pardon the unavoidable pun) project by an independent lab, and the Mewtwo we know and love will no longer be the only one

over the years i know, sometimes head canon is all we have.

i had this coherent plot for a side/prequel to the movies. about a very unusual (eccentric, sadistic, chainsmoking cigars) mewtwo clone on an island... where he trains his own particular pokemon teams... in VERY brutal ways... (like Navy seal Hell week) to overcome their type weaknesses, and surpass their base limitations. imagine a Flareon strong enough to fight underwater... a Pikachu that can literally melt and explode any rock type.. and his star... a timid Lucario he pays special attention to... and actually learns to be a Psychic type rivaling even his master... one part of his training involved a bear trap.. he had to learn to keep open telekinetically... or else.
