i recently learned that those with blue or gray eyes, there eyes often hurt in normal sunlight, because there pupils don't close enough compared to the normal eye from generations of evolution where blue/gray eyes people often spent most of there lives in darker areas. so they can see much better in dark areas......

*giggles* yeah it explained a lot for me as well, apparently our eye color (i have gray eyes too) originally game from Poland, its often cloudy there so through years of evolution our eyes developed differently and were conditioned for darker areas compared to other colors....so i guess you could say our eye color has an almost natural night vision
