a wonderful piece of art done by  azzanvixkin of Shadow and her son Daivik.

Daivik is born 518 universal (2590 human) years after the events of the my first book. though he is mentioned (in the first book) when Devona tries to convince Shadow to do her bidding by showing her future.
His father is Demaskis. Daivik is a rare occurrence, Due to the aggressive nature of Series Hybrid genetics it was uncommon for species to mix though they can inherit abilities from the mother/father or both, he is a mix between fox and lion.
Just like his mother Daivik is a child prodigy and cares deeply for his family.


though i mentioned in the Toshiko story notes i have little interest in the Grand divide era i have intentionally kept a lot of information out of the following notes since they revolve around major plot points of the story...

In the universal year 4281 Shadow is given a serum by Dr Lu Nii that granted her theoretical immortality so she couldn't back out of a promise she made to convince Demaskis to return to her mansion.

when her uncle Scouni dies of old age 135 universal years later she is immediately voted in as the head member of the Airborne Sabers by its 3 million strong family. living up to her status as a living prodigy, Shadow brings the House influence and respect to unprecedented heights.

by 4789 she begins to feel the weight of immortality, though her body hadn't aged a day since the injection she had lived for more than three lifetimes and was beginning to grow weary of governing the House. Since she was unable to die Shadow tried numerous times to get herself voted out of office but every time no other candidate would step forward out of respect.
House law was clear: only the best family member will rule the Airborne sabers, Shadow was stuck.
