Not only is this your "cutest commission of the year so far," it's also one of MY new favorites. x3
The characters are both adorable (the fox(?) looks so surprised at the little rodent grabbing his tongue XD), the detail is AMAZING, and the colors are so bright and well-blended!

Ha! What a great idea ^__^ I think every character artist has had this idea, but you're one of the few who've actually drawn it.
The facial expressions are gold, but I also love the lighting, here: it's like a layer of gold laid on top of the foliage, and it looks beautiful. Great job.
