I commissioned
Syrinoth for this one, which is always a blast to do. Thanks, Syri!
The logistics of clothing for anthros is really fun to think about, and this piece was the direct result of a bit of pondering I did on the subject. Any anthro with a big tail who wears pants is going to have to find some way to get the two to play nice. A common solution is to have a button or clasp that fastens over the top of the tail, while
Vader-San's lovely Eliza prefers pants with a bit of sleeve back there.
What about underwear, though? Jenny's favorite are medium-leg boyshorts with no buttons. How does she get them on? After thinking about it a bit, I figure that she slips her tail in first, pulls them most of the way up, steps one leg in at a time, then pulls them the rest of the way on.
With the answer to the most important question of the week in hand, I asked Syri to show us how it's done!

Tail socks are something I've always pictured being the most common form of pants accessory for anthros with tails. But even there you'd probably find different types, such as extensions of the pants which are just loose and light, or variations that have a bit of elastic incorporated, so they're more form fitting.
And a tail is pretty much directly connected to the unmentionable bits of most anthro species. So as much lingerie as there is for our own human species, which lacks a tail completely, imagine adding in the extra limb there! Victoria's Secret would have a field day with all the possibility.
Hell, Dickies would probably come out with multiple lines of duds for different sorts of industry work, tailored to species.

Actually, I have given that some thought. If it's button up from the front, with a "U" shaped indentation at the top of the back, they can put the garmet up against their back, lift it up to fit the wings in the "U" slot, fasten a clasp above the wings, likely as part of the neck collar, put their arms through the sleeves one by one, and then button up the front.
If that makes sense. I've got a picture of the design, if you don't mind seeing male canine nudity in the reference sheet.

Haven't looked at your gallery, but I'll do so shortly. It was the clothing discussion after seeing the pic that piqued my interest really.

It was a minor closeup I requested.

Yeah, I try to put thought into clothing as well (though I've largely neglected the undergarmets since those aren't seen with my characters), as grounding as much in reality as possible seems to enhance the fantasy elements in a way. I prefer the "U" shape back to pants with the strap and clasp myself, as it just seems a pain to get a tail through a hole and your legs through other holes, especially if one's tail is fluffy. Heck, A person I commissioned once even went the extra mile in apparel considerations and took the time to design how glasses would best work on an anthro head, as the shape and ear placements are more often than not very different than human heads.
I don't know, I thought they came out pretty well:

"How to dress up Anthropomorphic characters."
For some reason, I see this as a book....with all kinds of different creatures in there. How about insects / arachnids, Dolphins, Orcas, Sharks, and so on? Those many limbs and huge-finned tails need to figure out a way to get into some comfortable clothing!

Since the list of things I like includes dragons and hoodies, I spend quite a lot of time thinking how to get it to work. Wings are problematic, but I think the solution lies in the shape of the hole for the wings, and the method of putting them on; the hole being roughly airfoil-shaped, and put on wings-first, sort of like a vest: tips close together at the beginning, and then spread apart to get it close to the body, then the arms, and then zip it up.
