Please excuse any little symmetry issues. They're either being worked on as we speak, or will hammer themselves out in the furring stages. c: Also my terrible symmetry line which, as you can see, I had to redraw like three times. XD
What I'm looking for is breed-specific critique~ Does he have all the hallmarks of a pibble? Obviously this isn't meant to be realistic, so you don't have to get too crazy with it~ Atm I have the cropped ears, big ol' cheeks, dimple at the top of his head, pronounced stop, and some pretty big lips. Also dat schnoz~ <3

Maybe a not so defined muzzle? like maybe make it blend in more with the cheeks? but then again im not too sure on what expression youre going for other then happy

Yeah with all the ref pictures I have open in other tabs, this is the biggest discrepancy I found. :c Unfortunately if I blend the muzzle into the cheeks too much, I'm afraid he'll lose that nice defined smile and they'll become blobs. XD Though the furring process itself will smooth that out a surprising amount.
Just. Super happy. Like. He's way too excited to be a pit bull you have no idea. rofl

Actually I found that weird curve shape worked really well in my fursuit. :3

Nice redline, but when you put the fur on it, don't you think it will "bulk up" the head? I would pin some fur onto the muzzle and cheeks to see how it builds it out. That's what I did on my suit.http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11512322/
i definitely like the redline with the muzzle bulked up on top, but i might emphasize making the nose a bit pointier-- i know the rounded nose is a stylistic choice, but i think flattening it on top (or, flattening it a bit keeping in mind what it'll look like post-fur, you know the drill) might help take it from 'generic dog' to the shovel-shaped PIBBLE face. you could try taking a look at pittie clipart/silhouettes/cartoons to see what lines on the face the artists emphasize, because those will be the ones you need to focus on to keep it recognizable as a pittie. :3
out of curiosity, since you also use the green foam to craft, do you ever put anything between your foam and your fur? i had this problem with rattie and trailer where when i furred them in white there would be a green tinge to the fur, so i ended up putting a layer of off-white fleece on top of my foam where the white fur needed to sit. i'm not sure if that was strictly necessary but it certainly made me feel better, haha.

Oh I might consider flattening the top of the nose. The round one is actually referenced from a super toony badge I have. XD
I've actually never had qn issue with that! Though I know other people have. I've also not branches out from DF style fur until now. Idk if it's the fur or just that I'm really terrible with colors. XD But the fur for this isn't DF and when I tossed a swatch on it I didn't notice any green peeking through. I think the white/off white fleece underneath is how people normally combat it.

You might look here http://www.imstuffedfur.com/home.html for fur. It's where I got my fur. The fur they sell is better quality and I know that you won't have any green "poke through".
literally worst fursuit everrrrrr
I've actually done a lot of what Hoot suggested in her redline up there, along with adding another layer to both the brows and the nose. :D And making the ears round outward on the sides instead of inward.
Soexcite!
Also gonna be using the Rabbit fur you suggested. Omgsosoooooft.

Here's my 10 cents, the over-all shape is rather nice, it's clearly cartoony so I won't pressure you into anything realism of sorts but there are two things I'd like to mention if you haven't had them mentioned already, the eye sockets are not symmetric and I believe that the muzzle is a little on the thick side, this obscures the face when looking at it from the front, last but not least the nose may be a little bit too tall
That's all I gotta say, otherwise good job!
