Despite the name given to him by irate farmers this creature isn't a devil at all but rather a tiny storm spirit. He's no bigger than a large dog and is typically beneficial to have wandering about your fields, as he hunts and eats pests that lead to crop failure. He's omnivorous and enjoys sometimes snacking on crops himself but never gets terribly carried away.
He is intelligent enough, however, to be vindictive. The crop devil is a prideful beast who spends much of his time perfecting the arrangement of flowers on his back and if you try to shoot at him or otherwise muss his perfect fur he is likely to enact revenge by raining out your corn or drowning your wheat in dust.
So be kind to the crop devil and you're more than likely to have a plentiful bounty come harvest time.

i am also plagued with misguided emotions towards this beast because i'm from the nebraska area (technically i'm in iowa, but on the very border. 10 minutes away from nebraska, so most of us in this city work and play there)
more than any other adopt i've seen, i really hope he gets a good home...

i go to lincoln to see my doctor every six months! it's only about an hour away from here.
everytime i'm there i'm like "wow this town is really awesome" there's just something warm about it, i really like it.
not to mention the lincoln capitol is out of this world. i've visited that place a few times with my dad when i was younger.

there's not much in council bluffs tbh, omaha is where it's at as far as entertainment and stuff goes. i do like council bluffs ok though. it's home, haha.
yeah, it's the place with the giant gold dome. i just remember exploring it with my dad and it felt like being in a zelda video game exploring a castle or something. it was really fun. after the little tour they give you, you pretty much get free reign and just explore for as long as you want. and you can go up and up to the very top by taking a small old fashioned elevator or go up allll these stairs for like hours. you could get lost in the place. but it's usually pretty empty and you can just explore different floors and areas and rooms to your heart's content
we would find new places and things every time. i remember one time walking around and heard this olllld music being played and found a circular tower room with some people on a circle on the floor playing like old time instruments, one was kinda like an ocarina (which reminded me of zelda too haha) it must have been some kind of a group meet up there or something. but there was no one else around. that's kind of how it is. just exploring all these areas and wondering what you'll find next. you should go sometime! and if it turns out it's really boring, then i apologize for my younger self and his active imagination making it into something it wasn't heheh but i have great memories there. :3
