A commission for my french friend
. Here we have PussyCat representing QUEBEC and Issarlk representing FRANCE. What I learned from him is that, in France, they rarely have Poutine and in Quebec, they rarely have Ratatouille.
Enjoy your meal, guys!

I know its possible to get decent poutine in New England and Michigan, so it wouldn't surprise me if there was some places in Washington.
And by cheese curds, I mean if possible you should avoid poutines that have cheese rather than cheese curds. Its not really poutine if they use cheese.

This place was the closest I could find to poutine: https://plus.google.com/10288641667.....l=us&hl=en
Aside from trying to make your own with string cheese instead of curds. XD

I lived in France for a while and I learned something- Le Français LOVE the Québécois. Maybe it was just because of the Loire region I was in, maybe because it was around Christmas time, but they adore their Canadian children, boasting about them and displaying Quebec flags all the time, almost as if they were still a colony. But if you mention Louisiana and the Cajuns, they go quiet or downplay their French connections.
