Oh nvm, I searched a video and see what you mean now. The movement is so fast that you almost don't see they have a handle, without the sword, in their hands, so I thought there wasn't any.

The blades for the swords are in those long boxes on their hips, they work like box cutters with disposable blades and they change them out with the handles.

I like how Mikasa is the real bad ass of the series. While Eren tries to be all bad ass awesome, even as a Titan.

Btw you should read the graphic novel sometime. It's farther ahead than the anime. I couldn't hold the suspense after the las episode last weekend.

I'd honestly rather not. I personally much prefer animation and the animation is gorgeous, and I'd then feel kinda bored reading it, knowing what's going to happen when I watch the anime later.

To be honest mikasa is not really likable in the series becauae she has that asian are always the best kinda attitude. And a bogus silent type see her story is a bit lackluster I actually like jean a lot more then I like her.

Well, since you were honest, then maybe I should be honest as well. Comments like that aren't really nice to hear, you're pretty much noticing I like something and saying why that something is bad/shouldn't be liked. It's honestly pretty hurtful, especially when the person doesn't even comment on the art and only wants to mention what's not to like about a character.
