Mushroom Mushroom! @.3.@

Uhm, I dunno. Opened an oC session out of boredom with  mysterius and Digi (Dunno if he has an FA page)
Though no one really drew anything, just was me making this.

Started as a.. I dunno, just turned into a mushroomy thing.
Nice practice with lightning effects I s'pose.

I did three layers, the lineart, base color, then the 'light' I supose.

Though, I don't think oC really cares about layer positioning, but ah well.
(Maybe its just I don't ever use solid colors, so it looks like it bleeds through)

Anyway, I did this solid sheet of darker color between the line and the color (I guess it could have been all the way over, though then you'd lose the edge of the glowey points)
Then on the same layer colored over with the pinkish, lavender color- which had the orange undertone bleed through.

Any suggestions on how to do lighting? Or is this a good way, but just needs alott'a practice?
