lol. I have the same problem. Short person = short legs = everyone having to walk slow so I can keep up. It also annoys me when people have to bend down to give me hugs.

I like being little :P I'm the shortest of my group of friends, which of course means random teasing, but I'd rather be short and awkward (thus making me weird and adorable) that just tall and awkward :P

Another thing I can relate to. Most of my friends find my shortness adorable, dispite the teasing and saying I look like
I'm 12. They always buy me food, drinks, and sometimes movie tickets and refuse that I pay them back. But thats the only perk I know of.

Haha yeah, pretty much, everyone says I look like I'm 12 too (which makes me wonder if my boyfriend is into pedophilia O_o ) But if I look upset they freak out and feel bad for me and buy me sodas :> :P

And you attack, arms craned above your head, now like a scorpion, tip pointng down, before, Like lightning, your muscles tense and there is a flash before my lifeblood is cast onto the cold brick behind me.
And at that, you slip off into the night, arms trailing once more. You stop to taste my blood from the blade edge, then spot your next target.
The last thing I see is two acid green eyes, leer at me from the darkness once more, before it all goes pitch black..

In what way was is the composition poor? How are the colors a bad combination (they're complimentary as far as I know, but I might have an outdated color wheel)? How is it wishy-washy and why is the execution mediocre?

Comments are often not looked at by a lot of artists on here and I'm not going to spend my time writing a critique for someone who isn't going to look or doesn't care. Responding to my comment in general hardly FORCED me to do anything, but just like my Bad Art collection on DA, I give critique to anyone who asks.

You just assumed that because my comment wasn't an asspat, I was trolling you. Flipping your shit because of a negative comment on your work is pretty silly, in my opinion; flipping out enough to seek vengeance on them even sillier. Refusing to give critique when asked - no matter how you got into the situation or how you feel - can't help but come off as immature and baseless. Honestly, 'trolling back' without anything to show is just what every other 12 year old on DeviantArt does.

Okay, I'll make sure to do a full history of each artist I make to see how often they check their comments before I say anything. I honestly don't care whether or not you mentioned there were flaws on it in the artists comment, if anything, it just makes the reaction you gave even more ridiculous.

You have imagination, that much is clear.

I think that if you worked on your technique, and allowed your drawings to speak for themselves, on their own terms, you could gain a lot more attention as a skilled artist than as "a miserable mean obnoxious cantanker-sore" (in your own words). Being miserable will defeat your efforts, but working on your skills will take you much farther, and to a much better goal.

Based off of a dream I had in which I felt the urge to perform a surgery on myself to make my arms one joint longer. But I like the hug idea better.

Can't say I much care for the image this creates, but hey, it's your dream... or nightmare, whichever.

I'll agree it's disturbing as hell, and the light green/dark red combination is quite unpleasant for me, but that just makes the image all the more disturbing. So in the sense that it's not supposed to "be pretty", it works... If that makes any sense.

--note, I'm no artist. I studied art over 30 years ago, and I have no native talents in that direction that I could find. *shrug*

Dude, if anything awesome came out of today, it was finding this. I love the composition and the color theory used in this. It gives the image a very dark and almost sinister feel C;

Not a fan. I see no focus and no movement to the picture. The colors are interesting, but nothing really to write home about, especially when the lack of perspective detracts so much from the composition.

Sorry - one of your other works should be your "feature," not this one.

gotta admit, though abstract in design the composition is well placed. it made my eyes get drawn down to the face.
