this is my logo. it's an adaptation of the F-14 TomCat Patch (The F-14 was "made Famous" by the movie TopGun in 1986 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092099/)
the F-14 was one of the greatest aircraft ever to fly. She flew from 1973 (the year before I was born) until October of 2006. She will be missed

the f-117a Wobbly Goblin? dam, I had not heard.
well, with the F-22 Raptor in service now, or about to be, I can understand.
the 117 was basically an F-15 with an awesome body job, but was a VERY small bomber.
I wonder if they are ever going to replace the F-14? cause the F/a-18b is NOT up to the task. it's good, but it's no tomcat

its the replacement for the harrier, hover to super sonic and back to hover with out a problem, its a little wobbly taking off on uneven or sandy surfaces but aside from that everything is awesome, range and payload are two dif. things sadly, but there are variations that rectify that, simple add-ons like extended fuel cells and so on.
Amazing process, he said when the project leader saw the thing go from hover to sonic and back again, turn and face the crowd, he said that he looked over at him, and noticed a tear running down his face, he knew they won the contract, one that would keep them on top for the next 15 years at least as the leading military aircraft manufacturer.
