I recently decided I wanted to completely change up my Polarstar externals. My old Classic Army externals were looking a bit rough and I like a change of pace. I decided to build an M27 IAR for a few reasons, the main one being that I love VFC externals. I can't get over how great the quality is and how clean they look. After selling my loaner M15 AEG, I purchased a new VFC HK416 at a pretty nice deal (about 350$ brand new).

Internally, I've removed the VFC gearbox and hopup unit and replaced it with the Fusion Engine and Prometheus hopup unit, purple soft bucking and nub. I kept the original inner barrel for now, but once I get the IAR conversion kit, I'll be putting a new Orga 6.23mm wide bore in it's place. Externally, I've switched out the motor grip for a MOE grip and switched the rear sight with a Troy flip rear site. I'm not sure the make of the optic since I just bought it used (guy said it was a Trijicon licensed but I never confirmed). It is 2x 7-32 and has red and green illumination. Rail covers are JBU and I've got my WPA (Western PA Airsoft) patch. I think after getting the IAR kit, I'll also be swapping out the stock and installing a suppressor once I get around to removing the flash hider. Keep an eye out, and I will be giving updates on this build as I receive parts.
