Another project for class...I had to design these bird-man hybrids and paint an illustration. My guidelines were that it took place in a desert canyon, and that the birdmen have the wings and tails of birds of prey, taloned hands and feet, and that their heads were a mixture of human and bird. I wanted to blend the two aspects together without making it look like either a man with wings or an anthropomorphized bird...I'll be posting my design sheet/sketches as well, so people can see.
