And here we have a badge for my friend, Kyro! I'd like to drag her to cons with me, so I told her I'd make her a badge for them.
I messed up on the eyes, as we had recently changed them from round pupils to slit, and I forgot, oops.

I'd be really curious to know why you think that. What is different from the other traditional badges she's done recently?
I personally think this one looks really great. Are you comparing it to her digital work?
You could of at least given something constructive for her to think about. like your reasons -why- you think its bad. Just stating it looks awful is extremely rude and doesn't help anyone improve at all, if you dont back it up with reasoning behind it then there was really no point for you to post it in the first place.

To elaborate, the mouth of the character looks very odd, along with the snout. Also, the hair looks way too bulky. This might just be because of my preference towards Neko's digital art, but the art style should still be very much the same, and that's why I think that this particular piece looks bad in comparison to the other art that she's done before. Don't get me wrong though - The character itself is just fine, I'm not critiquing the fursona - Just the artist.
Traditional and digital art is -VERY- different when it comes to actually doing it. Styles changes from one to the other because of the differences. So no, its not "practically" the same. There is almost -everything- different about drawing on the computer versus drawing on paper.
Also, not all people want critique openly on their posts. Some people dont want critique at all. Try and be more considerate and ask in private if the artist wants critique first, otherwise your just making an ass of yourself and being really rude. You can easily say what you did in a more tactful way that is less insulting. -.-'
As well, i will reiterate Kasune's post, "Just because it's your opinion doesn't mean you get a free ticket to say something outright rude and potentially hurtful. "

You must not know my art very well if it seems that different to you as I can find the exact same thing in my recent work, hair included.
However your comment was absolutely uncalled for, I ask that you please do not leave such comments in the future (as this is not proper critique and just wanting to hurt someone).

I have been following you for over a year now, so I know your art VERY well. I am sorry if you feel that my comments are hurtful, but I fail to see why this is not proper critique.
To Temrin: If someone uploads art on an art website, they should expect (and mostly likely seek) some comments that aren't all rainbows and sunshine. If all of the comments are just "omg 2 cute omg omg", then I'd go as far as to say that my comment is even more relevant than those.
But meh - Opinions will be opinions.
