So, two wolves and a bear go into a burger joint...
And the punchline is that this wasn't a joke! Apparently der puppy and his siblings are opening a burger joint here in Toronto, and he was in town today pimping it. So me and
Blackington_J_Berry went to check out the insanity...and surprisingly got more than we bargained for! Der puppy and his brother were handing out food and gift cards, and it kind of turned into this weird meet and greet thing.
A productive one at that! Pup perked up when he saw me, and when I asked him if he got that epic ton of furry art I foisted onto his handler in June, he said he did, much to my vast relief.
Me: Oh good! That oughta shut you up for the time being! :D
Der pup's brother: No it won't.
Me: *snrk*
(NOTE: Der pup's bro's name escapes my mind, but I liked this guy. Amiable fellow and a good sense of humour.)
In the meantime, it's awesome that stuff like this not only happens in my backyard, but occurs in away that makes it easy for my pals to tag along! So der puppy's finally getting to meet more furs, and he seems to like us!
That said, I hear Wahlburger's is having a grand opening in January. Who's up for a furmeet? :D

I need to stay out of pictures. Every time I get in one I look so morose. Might have been because I took a tumble on Spadina and my knee was a swollen mass of scabs and unpleasantness. No reason to feel that way other than that minor annoyance, this was fun. Got a gift card, got to meet this Wahlberg guy I keep hearing about. I didn't get to do that in Regina. The best I could hope for was to see Ralph Goodale doing his gardening. With no shirt on.
This has been a long time coming, hasn't it? The last few years have been kind of a blur, but I could swear it was forever ago that you first found out about Wahlburgers and mentioned it on your show. Like, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me featured it in one of their quizzes not long after they did the one about bronies.
