Really trying out or returning to the old ways of colouring and drawing relxes me ^..^ Play with realism more or less this time, I based this on one of Samantha Mathis photos as reference. I've spend two evenings over it until i got boed ;) Still i pretty much like it even if it needs hellova corrections.
With this method I camed out with my Neverwinter Nights online character Kallethua Lucidique Redraven, a moon elf sorcerer. I guess i managed to give justice to her eyes which i usually describe as so intense that it almost hurts to look in them, but from other side so beautifull you can't stop yourself from watching.
Still not really how i imagine elves but I was also to lazy to bother and make serious corrections to her eyes and nose ;) just take it as it is...

Well, you do things at such a grand detailed scale dear. Also, since I don't know what she ever looked like, its especially hard for me to tell where you messed up other than if your colors aren't continuous throughout the picture. Then again, that could easily be a "Thats suppose to be like that."
So what was it? The hair? The way the watermark appears on the image? Her tattoo is off slightly? What could it possibly be!? XP

no, none of those things.. it's the technique, use of light and other things of this type.
Like i told, things on which people don't pay attention becouse they don't have any idea about them... and yeah it's easy to impress them. But i can tell you one thing, in more enlightened circles this picture has so many flaws as the moon surface ;)
