Bacon, Lettuce and... Tomato?
Petunia, Lola and Tina, so that makes... PLT.
Huh. Ah, you get the idea.
Anyway, that's it for The Looney Tunes Show 2011. I enjoyed it, got a few laughs and it inspired a bunch of fanarts.

it..it is ending...awww nooo oh well I should hurry getting completely on DVD till they reboot everything again. HOPEFULLY NOT LIKE THEY DID WIHT THEIR OTHER Intellectual Proprieties...(cough cough Dc..cough) so far WB had never ever did a decent reboot not even by mistake.....sincerely I hope lola don't fall back to the 90s style...it was so boring that cause narcolepsy(sincerely body apart till LTS2011 Lola never interested me at all as character. I never really wasn't interested in reading/watching more adventure of her, till now.
I think she was better as an intelligent, stable action girl than the stalker retard they made her. However, rather than start an argument, they should have taken a page from Lola's voice actor's resume and made a newer funnier Lola that was more like Morgana from Darkwing Duck: sexy, smart, and still able to be a comedic foil to/with the main character by being clumsy or making THEM clumsy due how smitten they were over her.
Actually I can agree with that..infact i can totally see Lola being a like Morgana. but the second part "making other character clumsy2 is nice and funny but don't work for long term appearence. I think that some good example of funny female character can be seen in some Lauren Faust toon (not just MLP, but also Super BFF shorts). But sincerely LT2011 lola is kind of funny, her obsession about bugs kind of reflecting the reasong of her creation (bugs need a girlfriend) a sort of parady of the editorial mandate. Original Lola was, not stable(she skipped her feeble characterization toward the end for even less reason than LT2011) too muhc Grrrl without real reason, and she did not shown any sign of intelligence, dislike LT2011 Lola who was quite cunning. comci book lola was better, mostly because they devleoped her outside bugs sphere(hard to do in animation, even if an all female episode would have been good in opinion) still it was still the "bugs as female" syndrome in that she behaved too muhc llike bugs. Seem they really don't know what characterization give to her. I say JUST MAKE HER a GROWN UP BABS BUNNY, or less cynical younger Slappy squirrel, or copy any femlae character of MLP:FiM. But for Fritz Freeleng sake DECIDE! He roriginal characterization was non existant, her comic book persona was better but too much like bugs when alone, shallow california girl when togehter with bugs, neutral TV commenter in that Tweety cartoon movie, Straight Woman in Baby looney toons, while not lola , Loonatics Lexy seemed to have a quite interesting characterization, expecially later, when they gave her a certain lack of confidence and slef doubts that is kind of unique for a looney tunes charcter, but Loonatics was not that funny and this with "funny animal show" is capital sin. Seem like they REALLY have no idea what's Lola is about, except being a Girlfriend. A cute body to have around him just to tone down the sausagefest...is kind of sad
I wouldn't say Space Jam Lola was unintelligent just underused. You'll notice that she easily disappears in any given moment as if they were only half using her (as do even the regular Looney Tunes in any given scene). As for making the others clumsy, I mostly meant how her actions could make another the butt of the joke rather than herself or even maintain the "don't call me 'doll'" routine. Some people have noticed that LTS2011 is essentially Seinfeld with Bugs Bunny so shouldn't Lola more accurately reflect Elaine in the thinks-she's-smarter-than-she-is kind of comedy? She is rich and they could easily have taken humor from the culture gap between rich life and real life (without making her a snob). But based on all things -her voice actor, her demeanor, and her influences directly or indirectly on Loonatics and Baby Looney Tunes- my perception of Lola is a straight man to the antics of the others or at least the more sane, level-headed one to measure comedy off of. They could even have done it like on Airplane! where she says/does funny things with serious or ironic conviction and the joke is how out of place it seems; like a clown doing sarcasm instead of wackiness. All I know is, the new Lola seems like an obnoxious tax on my patience and spits on the (mostly) classy Lola we were introduced to.
And, yeah, that business about Lola being essentially a counterpart to Babs is how I look at things as well.

The idea of Lola as Elaine....could work..has potential...really really potential I approve! Also a Lola as female version of Lesline Nielsen(godd bless him and his deadpan snark slapstick genius. He will be missed) is not bad idea.
But really old lola....Classy? Bwahahahahaha oh jesus this....ohboy better stop here and now....Because we seem to have too different perceptions of the thing to even found more common ground that we did so far.

I can agree wiht you on some of those points: yes we saw too little of her to know any better(like many female toon actually....now is tad better, but only marginally, for female toons. Still if wasn't for MLP and LTS2011 the anthro/funny animals side would have been completely extinct by now in that regard). And yes New Lola suffer form the OPPOsite problem, she is Obsessive Compulsive(like many recurring "shoulder" female toons associated to main character male toon to be honest) and later seem to assume weird dignified, albeit crazy, way. Of course we had to understadn that Lola is NOT the only female character introduced in LTS2011. Tina Russo was introduced too, aaaandd she was straightwoman voice of reason, albeit cynical and detached at times, to counter Daffy being, well, Daffy. So Lola did not had her usual baseline "trope" to fall onto(muhc like what happened in Baby Looney Toons since there were other females the personality of Baby Lola shifted and changed depending if she was the only one female charcter or not.....). In the end i think is just a problem wiht WB not knowing what to do wiht her nor how to charcterize her (not surprise if one follow its Comic arm DC comics a little. But better stop here before opening an endless can of worms..).Also we are infesting this post iwht our polite and civil discussion way too much, overdoing our welcome. It was pleasure to exchange idea in a civil way, for once, and I will happy to meet you online again Maarons. For now cya around good fellow.
Is it ending? I haven't seen where it was shown to be officially being canceled.
Other than that I have rather enjoyed the show later on. At first I didn't like it due to mainly Lola's character. But after a while I didn't really seem bothered by her. I enjoyed Tina's character a lot and wish I had seen more of her.
Though on the topic of canceled shows on Cartoon Network. Why the hell is Johnny test still there? How is that popular enough to stay afloat?

At least Johnny Test's animators make a legit effort, and not the crap that looks like it was drawn by two year olds that has been passing for cartoons as of late. recently saw the preview for Uncle grandpa have we as a society dropped so low that crap like that passes as entertainment. I miss the days of Swatcatz ect
While I agree with you on the passing cartoons are you really suggesting that Johnny Test has effort? It's a flash animation show with really repetitive sound effects (Whip, Guitar, Whip, Whip, Guitar, Whip!), an incredibly annoying and unlikable protagonist, side characters that aren't interesting at all and the lovely fact that the main character never learns anything. The one thing I somewhat liked about it was the theme song but that changed as soon as it hit Cartoon Network.
That's my opinion anyway. It still puzzles me as to why it is still on the air.
