well i have nothing against the 2ds but its not new for nintendo, its a step backward. thats why i said "they begin with making remakes for the advance" i mean a lot nintendo games got remakes/remastert/kind of. and its kind of "fucking bullshit". i mean why should i pay for a game (i use now samples) 30-50€ which is over 10-15 years old which comes only out a new? like Ocarina of time or others. thats kind of freaky.
Yeah, Gravity Rush sold the system to me. The original maker of Silent Hill did a lot of work on it. How is is the "Kings Story" game anyways? The system is so smooth, it's a shame not a lot of main stream games (Or "Good Games" as people would call them) have not been released on it. >.0
Little Kings Story reminds me a lot Overlord, is more or less the same gameplay and the mechanics are pretty similar with a more happy/fun look in the characters, i have to say that is a game that you can hate or you can love, i liked Overlord a lot, so, this one is nice for me.
You have Persona 4 and Blazblue Oooonlllyy games you need for Vita :p Although i find it funny how people dont release games for a console because they dont sell well, but they dont sell well cause there are no games for it, so basicly *rambles in a loop for a good 5 minutes* And thats why i hate Scrub Windsneakers who dont know how to be a windsneaker
Yea but i feel its the same as the Wii U, They should release some exlusive's for the vita, Or at the very least, had made the vita backwards compatible, would give people a reason to upgrade for the psp, but it's funny that most of the handheld games that i remember my psp for, KH, Monster hunter and Final fantasy, are being released on nintendo console's (Except final fantasy ofc XD) For now i just use my vita for fighting games cause i love the D pad, it's my style for playing fighting games X3
I would love to get one of these systems one day mostly for Sly 4,Muramassa and the latest Ys game. I just don't like the fact how SCEA has thumbed their nose any anyone wanting to convert their UMD based games to a digital format for a few bucks which is a service that they offer in Japan forcing people to double dip.
oh yes, i have some nice games on 3DS too, kid icarus inclusive, castlevania, fire emblem, zelda ocarina, and im looking for pokemon and smash bros, but still... im not a great fan of nintendo games but i like them too, still i considerate myself pretty neutral not being a fangirl and i like more the Vita.
I dont speak japanese. Nor do i read it. Only game i can get though without language issues is monster hunter portable third.
And thats ONLY because i know monster hunter very well. Also theres the extra of Import costs, that wonderful international shipping. So yes i'd like to be able to read games and subtitles and not pay extra for every possable psp game that could be added to the vita library.
Besides. them adding digital options and extra games will add purpose to the vita and let the actual producers gain actual profit without a middleman. There is no negative outside of them putting some effort into translation. Which by this point in time should be automatic at this point due to the international market.

I see a lot of good games on that list...
...the only DOWNSIDE is that the majority of those games are also on the PS3, meaning that if you already have a PS3, a Vita may not be a great choice at the moment. That doesn't mean the Vita is bad per se... it just needs more exclusives to warrant people getting it. It's kind of why Nintendo's handhelds have always had a market - they bring a large number of games that are ONLY on their handheld.
There is (or was, I still don't know what's going on with it anymore) game that is coming to the Vita that I absolutely want... though it's also on the PC (but my desktop and laptop aren't strong enough to run the game, so a Vita would be a better bet) and, believe it or not, it's absolutely F-R-E-E! The game in question? Phantasy Star Online 2. It's in Japan right now and they HAD plans on bringing it to the US, but there has not been any updates (a year after the announcement) other than it has been delayed.
One thing that is absolutely awesome about PSO2 (other than it's price point =p) is that the Vita servers can be accessed by PC players... that's right, it's cross-platform! The PC version has a few more enemies on screen at once (but, like... 2 or 3 out of 10, so it's not that big of a change), but hey... you can play the game on your Vita or PC with friends, so who's complaining?
That is one game I will get a Vita for absolutlely (well... unless they port it to PS4, I suppose...)

It's not that the PS Vita has no games, it's got loads of them, evidence speaks for itself. The main problem is it has not massive stand out titles that make the platform a must have experience, the DS has loads of them by no, Vita not so much. Not saying the games it has aren't good, it just doesn't have any particular series for it's marketing.
It doesn't help any that a lot of Sony's developers (and many developers in general with multiple platforms) love to use the 'gimmick' tech behind a lot of these platforms (Touch screens, motion control, etc) in ways they don't need to, basically resulting in them just beta testing the tech rather then using it in such a way to actually enhance the game play. Case in point, Kill Zone on Vita "Hey, we're got a touch screen on the front, a touch screen on the back, let's make those do swipy touch bullshit that could easily be don't with a button press!!"

i want one my psp is dying by which i mean ive turned it on and off so much that i cant turn it all the way off without removing the battery i can save my battery that way but not all the way off but can it play old psp games is my problem i have quite a few of them and no funds to replace my old one and get a new one.
You know what I'd like to see on the Vita outside of Japan? More visual novels. There's shittons, and most of them are infinitely better than the one or two we got back on the PSP (Hakuoki and Disgea Infinite, I think?)
Hell, I hear the Vita remake of Fate/Stay Night has the enhanced shit from the ps2 port plus a bonus chapter, and we still have never seen an official release of the original game over here.

Oh man Persona 4 Golden is amazing. Yeah, Gravity Rush is fun oddly i haven't had the motivation to go back amd keep.playing though. Super Stardust delta is pure awesome too. if ypu haven't gotten it it's absolutely worth the ten bucks or hpwever much it is. I wouldn't get the Ridge Racer for for it unless you're like me and are in love with the series and are willing to get it just to have the new game. The whole game's one big failed gimmick that wouldn't be as bad if they kept giving it more DLC (they sold the game at like, half the cost, but only give you five cars and three tracks, and everything else is dlc, and it's literally built for mostly online play. there's no career mode either. They made DLC, but they only gave us 14 kore cars and around 9 or so more tracks. but I'll be damned if we didnt get every song since the beginning pf the series.
I know the story about Ridge Racer, and due that, i didnt buy it, asphalt is a great substitute, better than most wanted for my tastes, but you make me remember the first time when i got my PSP, i got it with Ridge Racer, and it was awesome, the lil minigame, and those graphics and being able to play with pacman, ahhh good old times.. xD
Well, thats your opinion as you stated, I want that killzone in my Ps Vita, a game that the 3DS saddly cannot dream, simple games are good, but for a handheld, something more complex is awesome for me, and think that, at the end of this, the power in a hardware makes a longer live to the console, just take a look at PSP while the DS dies looong time ago, Nintendo sells good due their own sagas and Marios, but take out Marios, Zeldas and Pokemons, and tell me what the 3DS can offer you that will be better on the 3DS than a PS Vita, I have both of them, and i know what im talking about, im not a company fanatic, about the 2DS, Im cool with that, but with my 3DS XL is more than enough.
Given everything. I think Sony kinda dropped the ball when they tried to make a uniqe disk standard for the psp. Nobody really liked that medium, and now.. I'm not even sure what Vita uses. Sony in rumors however would just rather make all the software down loadable and turn the psp into a mobile version of the ps3 or ps4, or whatever it can keep up with. With that said they are supose to launch a new cloud network to stream games and its past librarry to the ps4 and possibly vita or newer versions of the psp. That would mostly explaine why theres not that many titles to chose from.
Nintendo on the other hand did not have stong sales for the WiiU. If anything its no more than the late HD version of the Wii with a fancy new controler... It makes me wonder if nintendo could have also just expanded the Wii by adding that controler to it. The 3DS overall didnt do any better.. They dropped the price not that long after launch for both of those consoles. Heck the 3DS had a redesign with a bigger screen etc not that long after also. The librarry for the 3DS is mostly whatever was made for the DS.. I'd guess the actual 3DS librarry is about the same as Vita's. Sony may not be a leader in the poirtable market but they could at some point turn the PSP into a WiiU like controller for the PS4. Nintendo through it's own acord went one leg into the same situation Sega fell into when they started to over saturate the market and then pegged their hopes on the Dreamcast. It would have worked if it was backwards compatable to the Saturn just to have a librarry. Nintendo already has that but it aint helping at this point.

I still use my old psp and I did consider getting a newer vita. After seeing that I had to use sony branded memory card to store data. I had to pass given the cost was more than other standard sd cards. With the only main difference being that Sony was using a non standard format on it. So that only the PSP line and possibly the PS3 could actualy read but not format a blank over the counter memory card. After reading about Vita Tv and that its function with the PS4 is simular to that WiiU remote. I might be interested in buying one for the mobile aspect but only if the mana serries can be downloaded and played on the vita. Speaking of which, I'm not impressed by either Nintendo or Sony's portable librarry as of late I've seen how sparse the virtural librarry was on the nintendo. compared to Microsoft. However, What's the download librarry like for the Vita? Is there a better selection of titles on the virtural side compared to the hard copies in stores?
