Better than it being forceibly dragged on. I've seen too many good stories being destroyed like that.
Although, I do wonder. There could be some side effects for thos two from all this spirit world stuff, dream jumping and contact with spirits. Also, depending however this turns out, some spirit might have need of their help with something else.
