I was looking through the turian tag in tumblr when i found this. The only difference is that there's no diamond in the middle of the forehead and that the artists that did this named it some weird name.
But come on. It's Goliat however you see it!

Von, I did read it before posting, now I repect your opinion on the picture and the artist who drew it, all I ask is you respect mine, I aggre what the artist did was completely wrong but the picture is done nicely, and just because I say it has a nice feature does not mean anything IT IS STILL STOLEN.

copying your character isn't right but you don't just go and post it and be like YES THANKS FOR THE GIFTART cause that's not right either
it'd be like if I saw a character similar or very close to mine and just posted it without permission to my account saying it was my character and "thanks for drawing it!" even though it wasn't done for me

and comparing it with this, this is Goliat. Initially I was on the guys side somewhat in that it seemed a little bit different, but now, after actually looking in detail, it is a carbon-copy of Goliat.

I imagine he did either:
1. Like you said and may have just seen Goliat on a Google Image search and liked the design and tried to claim it under the idea that nobody would notice.
2. Just felt like trying to steal him entirely and is a bad liar.
