I find it odd in a way, but I have an attraction to characters with some form of disability. Usually I find blindness or the loss of a limb interesting, I know it's fucked up in real life, but in make believe like this I find it can add depth. I've pondered being a one-armed lioness before or maybe having a Kakashi-style fucked up eye, but eh, not sure if I'd stick with it. Oh yeah, nice artz. :3

one of the central parts of her character is that, despite being blind, she's much more perceptive than most when it comes to reading others, but we didn't want to go with the whole 'blind but somehow able to get around like she can see' angle, she's definitely blind and she needs help getting around and not bumping into shit.

the baboons are also a warrior culture in this story so there's some pretty badass old sagely baboons with scars and missing eyes and at least one missing an arm.

Neat, I'll have to look at it with my eye holes whenever it's done.
