More artwork from my archives: "Pamela", from 2004.
Although an old piece, I'm still quite happy with how this tigress turned out. Despite a few issues, I think she still looks pretty good in her bikini ensemble. Plus I happen to have a bit of a soft spot for tigers, so Pamela here was always going to have a few things going for her.
As I recall, I changed one key thing from the original sketch to this picture: in that sketch, her bikini was transparent. Looking at it now, I'm actually glad I changed my mind - this time, at least!

That's one of the things I like about the older pieces, too. I know I've been improving as an artist over the years, and seeing my older pieces helps to remind me of that fact. But perhaps the main thing is the fact that although I've always enjoyed drawing, I'm enjoying it more than ever these days.
I'm tempted to allow Pamela here a repeat appearance - but this time, with her transparent two-piece bikini...
