Sal, I gotta say. Your work on this comic has been top-notch. Your art is worthy of being known universally in the fandom, your story telling is fantastically structured and you really, really know how to play emotions in a sympathetic and understandable way. Reading through this comic, I often find myself thinking about being in this situation with my significant other, and it's pretty powerful to see my feelings matching pretty well with what's happening in the comic, though understandably in a bit less extreme manner.
So yea. That window is pretty mothafuckin' amazing. :3

Because I hate myself I re-read through the comic and noticed the clever little hints of the passage of time.
Near the beginning Shou is watching Ken play, then it cuts to 11 months ago, saying it's August.
5 months later to New Years as they kiss in the rain.
Then to April, so 4 more months.
Given the passage of time as the cancer takes it's toll, it's easy to guess another 2 months had passed.
So, 5+4+2 = 11. I guess in the back of my mind I had hoped for some kind of happy ending, but it's much more likely he dies and is not really there on page 1.
I'm sure someone else has taken notice of this already, but I'm not in the mood to skim through 26 or so pages more of comments.
