I don't remember being to Hyder. Are you getting early snow showers? I ask because of the snow patches on the hills.

Always been a sucker for telephoto landscape photography. This is why. There's a different kind of emotion that's captured when you use a telephoto. It's more intimate and/or more grand. In this case, it's grand.

The kicker here is that my camera's lens doesn't have much telephoto ability at all. Simply put, those mountains are just huge--7000' tall, and they're only 3/4mi away from where I took the shot.
