The cuffs clamped uncomfortably around Sliver's cybernetic wrists, and the booze suffusing his system made killing the contact sensors problematic and he winced as simulated pain coursed through his nerves. The cop was definitely not playing nice.
"Ow!" the thresher shark complained in a mock insulted tone. "Can't you be more careful?"
"No."
The short answer was delivered in a matter-of-fact tone and silenced any further comment from her detainee. Whistling tunelessly, the shark cop spun and jingled the key around her index finger, that would for quite some time, seal Sliver's fate.
