I first thought these were the final evolutions since Fennekin and Froakie looked so big. Luckily these are middle evolutions xD. Because otherwise this cutey would be the silliest final evolution of a starter. Nice pic btw

So cute! I still like Froakie (and now his evo) the best, but I'm surprisingly happy with all three sets. Usually I dislike at least one, but they're all cute! I hope the third evo of Fennekin isn't too Lucario-ish. It already has Psychic moves going on.

most ugly second evolution ever.
and he started out so great too. at least the pig from last generation looked dumb in all its forms, but chespin had a great design.
final evolution will be even bulkier i gather...

The only thing you've gotten right is Chespin having a great evolution. The other opinions are the precise diametric opposite of correct.

I don't like it too much [but your art is amazing]
I'm hoping this is kind of like a cocoon evolution and it'll explode into some amazing Pokemon
Or it'll get buff like Emboar, which would be interesting for a grass type

Well...I hate most if not all the evolutions in the new Pokemon. The aesthetic has gone so fisher price that its ridiculous now. Disagree if you wish but I find the designs lazy and horrible. Its like they wish to chibify Pokemon more and more so they can produce toys for 6 year olds to chew on safely.
