Known to be the worst in business the Dov3 casting have made a name for themselves. The intakes are massive but the exhaust ports are among the most restrictive I have ever seen on anything with 4 wheels. This (along with displacement) contributes to the massive low end torque of this engine. That also leaves the engine with nothing but a hope and whisper on the top end. All in all these heads are in good shape. Which is good because they are going to be ported polished and reused. The valve springs are weak and will not make the cut. The valves are in good shape but will most likely be replaced with better 3 face ones. They will never be a set of Boss 9 heads but they should flow as much as I need for this application. But plan B is a set for Ford Racing Wedge heads. That would give me a high compression ratio and a low wallet.
