Luna is from a world where Everyone has their own pair of wings once they hit 10 years old, the wings are seen as a sign of growing up and a step into the world of adulthood. Luna is considered the outcast in her family and world because of her lack of wings and dreamer like qualities.
She discovers her Keyblade at 16 when her world is taken into the darkness by the heartless and sets off to restore her world and find out who she exactly is.
