Long story so basically Chuck once lived in the swamp and was close to starvation when he happened upon a magic lamp underwater. A genie came out and offered to grant him a wish but Chuck's instincts and especially hunger got the better of him and he gobbled the genie up instead of making a wish. Shortly after his size and weight grew greatly and he became a rather happy croc, but it wasn't to last. Soon after he was sucked into the lamp himself trapped until someone freed him. Since his captivity he discovered he now had magical powers and started hearing the voice of the genie he ate. Eventually he learned all he had to about being a genie and earned the name Ali Bubba (which annoys him). The voices stopped one day. Alone and sad he was stuck at the bottom of the swamp he lived in. Prinny GBA found the lamp and freed him so Chuck is no longer bound to the lamp in which a granted wish forces him back into the lamp afterwards. However Chuck still needs/prefers the lamp for the sake of his powers and technically its his new home. Along with normal prey he also developed a strong craving for magical creatures, objects, animals, people, etc.
