It's amazing. There are all kinds of sword techniques you can learn, like Circle of Iron and Wing of Crane. You can upgrade your weapons, your ki skills, and your spiritual powers. You acquire weapons slowly, but then again, your sword is awesome. I just found the flamethrower this morning, actually, didn't have a chance to test it out, but it looks promising. And the story is quite good, far superior to the original's plot, the graphics are beautiful, and Lo Wang isn't a childish, foul-mouthed Duke Nukem rip-off anymore, he's quite clever and cunning, and his in-combat lines aren't kid-like. There are also some references to other games, like Legend of Zelda. Most things in the environment are destructable, and there are some really powerful monsters to fight, the boss fights in particular are pretty epic. There are flying enemies too that you have to take out... There's more, but I must go now, so enjoy it when you can play it.
But in a way iset that what all modern Characters are? I mean it would have be so unique to have a "OVER" the top type protagonist like old lo Wang....all games seem to take themselves way to seriously now days... plus i always kinda though he was more a insane wise old master splinter type dude...but knowing the 90s..3D reams where pro going for a stereotype and i don't think they put any though into it. so yea i guess it wouldn't work now days but i still miss old lo Wang.
